QUINTA VERDE

Close to one of the most beautiful natural parks of Europe, about 3 km from Aljezur, lies our Quinta. We let 4 holyday apartments for 2-3 people each and 2 double rooms with shower. The apartments are fully equipped and have satellite tv and telephone. In the cooler winter month central heating provides comfortabel warmth. The pool above the main house is surrounded by old cork oaks. Right beside it, frogs giving their concert in their pond. The house lies on the slope of the hill and offers a fantastic view of the Serra de Monchique. You drive about 10 minutes to the beach. Praia Amoreira lies between high cliffs and a little stream to one side with sand dunes along the banks, providing welcome protecting against the wind. The shallow riverside even small children find ideal bathing conditions.

COSTA VICENTINA

The natural park Costa Vicentina covers about 80 km of coastline and goes into the Alentejo where it is called Costa Alentejana.The region is known for it´s diversity of birdlife, in the river you finde turtles and crabs. Oven a hundred species of plants can be found.The region is a fisherman paradise. Here, many diferent fish like sea bream, sea bass, eel, snapper and perch can be caught.The beaches are ideal for surfers. There are various good surfing scools.

ALJEZUR

Aljezur is the capital of the district of the same name. Above the old town you find the ruins of a moorish castle. In the centre, you can buy everythings nessesary, a small market for fresh vegetables, fruits and fish, a post office, banks, a nice café and various restaurantes.
